What is the 21-Day Sugar Detox?

The 21-Day Sugar Detox is a real, whole foods based nutrition challenge designed to reduce your cravings for sugars and carbohydrates.

 

The program was created by Diane Sanfilippo, a Certified Nutrition Consultant and New York Times best-selling author of Practical Paleo.

 

This 3-week sugar detox resets your palate and habits around sugar by transforming the way you build your plate.  

 

The ultimate goal of the 21DSD is for you to find your new normal - a consistent eating style and lifestyle habits that make you feel amazing and are realistic to stick to long term.  

Over Five Weeks of Coaching You'll Learn to:

Bust Cravings by ditching the junky processed foods and nourishing your body with nutrient dense meals by restructuring your plate.  Also, you will gain a greater understanding of how to navigate cravings without sabotaging your efforts.

 

Balance blood sugar and improve energy levels.  Fueling our bodies with adequate protein and fat reduces spikes in our blood sugar which results in consistent energy levels and stabilized appetite.

Reduce inflammation throughout your entire body including your joints and skin.  Excess sugar, processed foods and common food allergens can be incredibly stressful to numerous areas of our bodies and create low-level inflammation.  This depletes nutrient stores and can lead to digestive issues, leaky gut, poor mood, low energy, acne, PMS symptoms and chronic diseases.

Start Where You’re At

There are 3 program levels to the 21DSD as well as special modifications for athletes, pregnant & nursing moms, pescetarians and those following an autoimmune protocol.  The program is not suitable for vegans and strict vegetarians.

Level 1 includes gluten free grains; levels 1 & 2 include full-fat dairy; while level 3 is a stricter paleo template.
